SnapSolve is a Chrome extension that helps students solve math problems by taking screenshots and using AI to analyze them. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data We Collect

SnapSolve does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We have no servers.

The only data stored is:

• Your Gemini API key, stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API
• Temporary screenshot data, processed locally and never saved after the session

How Your Data Is Used

When you take a screenshot, the image is sent directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API using your own API key. We never see, intercept, or store this data. The transaction is between you and Google directly.

Third Party Services

SnapSolve uses the Google Gemini API. Your use of that API is subject to Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your API Key

Your Gemini API key is stored only on your local device and is never transmitted to anyone other than Google's API directly.
